A picket of University Offices was held in late February 1999, in order to attempt to get University staff on our side. The action most definitely raised awareness, and the University Police were sufficiently scared to remove protesters with unreasonable force. If anyone has any photos of the Police dragging students away, please let me know.

Later in the day, a 4000 signature petition was handed into the offices, under the title: We, the undersigned, believe in grants not fees and ask the university to endorse this policy.
